Crews Respond to Trailer House Fire

Battalion 3, Engine Co. 1 and Pumper/Tanker 22 responded into St. Louis County on a structure fire this evening @ 2345hrs.  Crews along with members of West Breveator/Culver and Arrowhead arrived to find a vacant trailer house fully involved and threatening a  residence which was possibly 40ft. south of the fire.  Crews quickly protected the exposures and extinguished the bulk of the fire.  Crews remained on scene for another hour and a half clearing the interior of the structure of roof and wall debris and putting out hot spots.  The house located south of the fire received heavy heat damage as well as a motor home that was just east of the fire.  The cause of the fire is suspicious in nature and being investigated by FDL PD and CAFD Fire Investigators as a possible arson fire.
